Technical Order Processor

We are looking for a competent service-driven person to join our team as a Technical Order Processor.
You must be reliable, able to organise and prioritise workloads and work well under pressure to meet daily deadlines.
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy is essential. The ability to check your own work is also required. Interpretation of customer requirements is necessary, and you will need to be able to communicate clearly and professionally with the customer to confirm the details.
Previous experience within the window industry would be a huge advantage as would working with Window Designer software.
Good communication and IT skills are essential for this role.
The role includes but is not limited to the following:
- Process orders to create accurate manufacturing and order confirmation data within the daily deadlines
- Process quotations accurately within the daily deadlines
- Upload, book in and check customer orders from the web
- Provide processing support to customers via telephone
- Refer to technical data provided to assist customers with technical enquiries
- Double check orders processed by others for errors and omissions
- Liaise with suppliers and complete orders for non-stock items
- Contact customers regarding order queries
- Log communication details in our system (Openview).
- Advise the customer of delays to their requested delivery date
- Ensure customer confidentiality is maintained at all times
- Identify any issues/problems with our processing software and report to the relevant person
- Ensure company’s rules and Health and Safety policy is adhered to at all times
- Any other duties as required including holiday and sickness cover
Salary range £23K - £26K Dependant on experience
Monday - Thursday 08.30 - 17.00 with half-hour lunch
Friday - 8.30 - 16.00 with half-hour lunch
