**Assistant Greenkeeper**

**Bridport & West Dorset Golf Club** golf course sits on top of the Jurassic Coast cliffs located inside The Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The Course, over its long history, has seen many changes. For the first 20 years, it was situated on West Cliff before moving to its current site on East Cliff in 1911. It became an 18-hole course in 1921 designed by Herbert Fowler, and since then has witnessed further alterations, the last major one being in 1989 with the acquisition of additional land on which has been built today’s 1st, 9th, 17th and 18th holes and the new Clubhouse.

The Club is an England Golf Championship Venue and also holds many county events throughout the year.

Here at B&WDGC, we are passionate about developing our staff in order to work to the highest standard possible. We have numerous plans for the club in the pipeline, making it an exciting time to join our team.

Working hours are based on 1950 hours per year on an annualised basis, including weekend work.
- Be a passionate and driven individual.
- NVQ Level 2 or above.
- Ideally Pa1, Pa2 & Pa6.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience.
- Positive hardworking attitude.
- Good attention to detail.
- Good use of own initiative.
- Good time management.
- Full driving license.
