Preschool Playgroup Leader

We’re looking to appoint a caring, well organised and enthusiastic Leader for our rural village Playgroup, managed by a supportive voluntary Committee made up of parents and friends of the Playgroup. Based in our own well -resourced building on the site of the local Primary School we are registered for 24 children, aged 2-5yrs old, per session, 5 days a week, currently 8.30 am to 3.45pm, term time only. We can offer the support of a team of well trained and dedicated staff, a number of relief staff, a tailored Induction, a programme of continuous professional development and an opportunity to develop leadership skills. We are looking for someone to lead sessions, plan exciting activities, monitor children’s progress, manage and encourage staff, liaise with other professionals, complete administrative paperwork and lead by example to offer the best possible start for our children.

Interviews: Week beginning 16th January

Required : - At least Level 3 Childcare qualification and 2 years experience in a leading role in a setting.

Pay: dependent on experience and qualifications

**Salary**: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
