**IT Clerk - Permanent - London**

We are looking for an individual to work for the Computer Department within a leading shipping company as an IT Clerk, to be based at their London office.

The duties and responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

- Technical support of all IT business in The UK and Ireland.
- Outlook troubleshooting
- Procurement of IT equipment and services and associated follow up processes
- Installation and configuration of desktops, printers and users’ devices
- Daily backup procedure for UK servers
- Manage and Monitor network security - Server patching
- Maintain Directory Server and associated services
- Maintain antivirus software
- Maintenance of software and hardware asset inventory, including an annual physical audit
- Liaise with global IT colleagues and UK terminals / depots to resolve EDI issues
- Configuration and preparation of web conference environment for users
- Maintenance of UK Intranet website & Recommendation Tracking System
- Troubleshooting of UK telephone system
- Maintain Intranet website and document flow system

For this position, you will need:

- Legal right to work in UK.
- Advanced computer skills
- Installing PCs with Windows
- Good organization, and communication skills.
- Understanding basic concepts of EDI technologies
- To be honest, responsible and punctual.
- To be able to work on your own initiative as well as to be a great team worker.
