Maintenance Supervisor

In partnership with Legal & General PLC and NatWest Pension Trustee Limited, with hugely ambitious (and very achievable) growth plans, we are seeking a **Maintenance Supervisor** to join our expanding village team.
**The Role**:
As our Maintenance Supervisor you will be responsible for a small team of maintenance assistants, ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our village's facilities equipment, machinery, and infrastructure. This role involves managing daily maintenance activities, coordinating repairs, implementing preventive maintenance programmes, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
**Key Requirements**:
- Taking responsibility for the maintenance program including gardening duties
- Overseeing and operating vehicles on site, reporting any issues where needed
- Managing the activities of night porters to ensure resident safety and compliance
- Taking a leading role in ensuring properties meet our high quality and fully functional expectations, so that the new resident’s experience is seamless and memorable
- Liaising with our residents regularly and professionally on works related to their homes
- Managing requests for chargeable works in line with company policy.
- Leading on compiling and keeping up to date the village’s property defect tracker, ensuring residents are kept fully informed and aware of work schedules, and ensuring quality and accuracy of works completed
- Operating a chargeable repairs and maintenance plan in line with the village revenue targets
- Supporting the finance team with manual meter readings as and when required
- Managing and recording of health and safety checks such as fire alarm and legionella testing
- Stock plot checks to be carried out on a regular basis to ensure defect free properties
- Supervise and support the maintenance assistant
**Working Hours**:
- This is a full-time role (37.5 per week)
