**We are recruiting Teaching Assistant L3 at Caerphilly County Borough Council.**

**Working hours**:37.5 Hours
**Contract Type**:Permanent/Full Time
**Location**: Ty Gilfach

This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Education Inclusion Team

**We pay an attractive salary of £24,294 - £25,979 and offer access to training and development opportunities.**

We require 10 L3 Teaching Assistants to work in our PRU Provision based at Ty Gilfach.

The PRU is part of a wider Cwmpawd provision which caters for young people with mainly Behavioral, Emotional and Social Difficulties.

The placement will be initially at the Ty Gilfach site though this may change as new buildings are developed.

Successful applicants will be required to bring a willingness to work hard, to develop empathy and understanding of the specific needs of each young person.

They will be expected to follow all policies of our Cwmpawd Provision, supporting colleagues to ensure we facilitate the best possible learning outcomes for all young people.

**For the role, we ask that you have**:

- An NVQ3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualifications or experience and GCSE English and Maths A - C or equivalent.
- Full working knowledge of relevant national/foundation phase curriculum and other relevant learning programmes/strategies.
- Ability to self-evaluate learning needs and actively seek learning opportunities.
