**About us**
Begin Off Road is a small business based at Weston Park, Shropshire. Our goal is to Introduce more people to Off Road Motorcycling.
Off Road Motorcycle instructor /guide
- We offer off road motorcycle experience sessions (mainly to Children and families).
The key element to this role is the ability to work well with children, engage with them and be able to provide a friendly environment for them.
A motorcycle licence is not required as we operate off road but experience riding and maintaining motorcycles is beneficial.
The core hours will be weekends and selected weekdays during the school holidays.
Although we are obviously bias, this role can be extremely fun and rewarding. It can be really hard at times, dealing with adverse weather conditions is tough, but it is great in the Summer. It’s very physical and involves doing a lot of miles (good for the step count though). There will be vast opportunity to gain experience, expand your own knowledge and also have freedom to express your own ideas.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is willing to contribute to all aspects of the business and be pro active with their own development.
- Has a passion for working with and inspiring young people.
- Is motivated to learn new skills.
- Is customer focused, friendly and approachable.
- Is physically fit and willing to work outdoors in challenging conditions.
- Is proficient with computers and will embrace technology.
- Is able to drive to our site at Weston Park (TF11 8LE).
Some activities this role will be responsible for are:
- Communicating with parents/carers regarding the children’s individual needs.
- Bike cleaning/maintenance (no experience required).
- Preparing equipment for sessions (helmets etc).
- Track maintenance (general grounds keeping).
**Requirements**:
- Full UK Driving Licence (or able to get to job location with no public transport), Able to communicate well with Children and Adults, Pass DBS check prior to starting (this will be arranged), Able to communicate well with Children and Adults.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary contract, Temp to perm, Freelance, Zero hours contract
Expected hours: 8 - 24 per week
