**About the Web Analyst position**

In the role of Web Analyst, you'll be responsible for the creation and maintenance of Web Analytics dashboards for multiple teams across the business: Product & UX, Marketing, Product Category Management.

You'll identify additional tracking requirements that would enrich our understanding of user behaviours to improve digital performance and online customer experience and work with IT to deliver these requirements, supporting in testing where required & maintainingcore data layer documentation.

The position will include monitoring GA analytics tool to identify significant changes in behaviours, investigate and flag to relevant stakeholders accordingly. You'll not only support in the development & adoption of digital attribution model for Distrelecbusiness but champion its usage, supporting stakeholders in interpretation and use.

**Day to day tasks of the Web Analyst will include**:

- The creation and maintenance of regular reporting to support business requirements focusing on marketing performance, webshop behaviours and interactions and commercial dashboards. Leveraging tools such as DataStudio & Power BI to do so.
- Collation and manipulation of data to provide actionable insight informing on how Distrelec customers use and interact online ultimately to improve customer journey and site optimisation.
- Supporting managers in the training and onboarding google analytics superusers and future migration to GA4.
- Championing the value of data & analysis and support the business in leverage data available to them.
- Working closely with the web analytics manager on data integrity by monitoring site tracking solutions to ensure tracking is correctly configured and data is being collected accurately. Working with Marketing teams to ensure all activity is properly tracked.
- Working with developers to implement site tracking solutions for data collection and implement measurement tags using Google Tag Manager - creating & maintaining comprehensive documentation surrounding list of attributes tracked within google analyticsplatforms.
- Supporting the implementation & adoption of Google Analytics 360 within Distrelec.
- Working with key stakeholders including Marketing Managers, CRM/SEO and Paid media specialists, E-Commerce Product Managers, Category and Product Management Teams, Group IT and Software Development, as well as external partners, vendors and agencies.

**We need applicants to the Web Analyst position to**:

- Previous experience using Google Analytics to a good level.
- Advanced user of Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.
- Understanding of data interrogation techniques.
- Experience with data visualisation tools e.g. Power BI, DataStudio etc.
- Hold a Bachelor/Master degree in an analytical, quantitative or related field, or equivalent employment experience.
- Have C1 Effective Operational Proficiency or advanced in English.

**And we'd love applicants to the Web Analyst position to**:

- Bring an understanding of SQL language/prior experience using Big Query.
- Understand how to manipulate large datasets.
- Have experience in or understanding of JavaScript/Google Tag management.
