**Salary**:up to £35,000 (dependent upon experience)

Chelsey Skinner (Compliance Policy and Advisory Manager) is on the hunt for a ‘Compliance Policy and Advisory Officer’ to come and join her team within a hybrid role.

We are looking for someone who can communicate clearly and effectively around complex regulatory compliance issues at all levels, both internally within the business as well as externally. Are you also able to resolve conflict and deal with confrontation tactfully and skillfully? We are searching for an individual who is able to work independently but also able to come together as a team when required, not forgetting being able to use initiative when both identifying and presenting solutions to support different activities and plans. It's important that you are also able to demonstrate a forward thinking and continuous learning approach whilst portraying a result driven profile and strong commercial acumen.

We are looking for someone who can help us with the following:

- Providing the business with a proactive and expert regulatory compliance advisory service based on FCA rules
- Supporting with the identification, impact analysis and oversight of implementation of regulatory change using the regulatory change tracker
- Assisting in the completion and providing guidance to the business on periodic regulatory reporting and delivering this within a timely manner
- Assisting in creating, completing, reporting, and overseeing the implementation of remedial measures if required
- Assisting in creating, recording, and updating a rules map which identifies the relevant regulation for the regulatory activity undertaken
- Supporting the creation of effective regulatory and conduct risk training
- Maintaining the regulatory breaches register as well as monitoring the closure of action plans
- Escalating significant compliance issues to the Compliance Policy and Advisory Manager for consideration
- Assisting in the production of regular regulatory and conduct management information for all corporate governance
- Supporting in developing, implementing, and updating adequate regulatory and conduct risk policies, standards, and processes
- Maintaining an up-to-date record of all regulatory interactions and overseeing the delivery of regulatory requests

and much more, as and when required

Additional training and support will be provided to the successful individual to allow them to develop their knowledge, skills and experience in Compliance.
