As a Warehouse Team Member, you'll be a key player in our warehousing operations, supporting various departments including goods in, goods out, picking, stock control, and waste disposal. Your efforts will help ensure our products are stored, handled, and shipped with the utmost care and efficiency.

**About the role**:

- **Unloading Stock Deliveries**: Receive stock deliveries, including containers, and place items in the designated areas as directed by supervisors.
- **Delivery Checks**: Verify deliveries against delivery notes and purchase orders, promptly reporting any discrepancies.
- **Picking Orders**: Pick furniture and accessories for all sales channels, ensuring accuracy against picking sheets.
- **Warehouse Organisation**: Assist in reorganising the warehouse and handling internal stock transfers.
- **Stock Replenishment**: Keep core stock levels replenished as needed.
- **Housekeeping**: Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse.
- **Loading Vehicles**: Load vehicles with stock for delivery on our fleet.
- **Paperwork**: Complete and file delivery notes and other necessary paperwork.
- **Waste Management**: Separate and process cardboard, plastics, mattresses, and furniture for recycling.
- **Health & Safety**: Adhere to and support all Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- **Cycle Counts & Returns**: Conduct daily cycle counts and process returns efficiently.

**About you**:

- Comfortable working in a fast-moving transport, warehousing, and distribution environment.
- Commitment to health and safety
- IT and computer skills.
- FLT licence preferred but not essential.
- Ability to perform regular manual lifting; manual handling training provided.
- Proficient in using warehouse handheld barcode scanners.

Pay: £25,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Performance bonus
