Plant Nursery Assistant

Countryside Plants Ltd have a fantastic opportunity for someone interested in working in horticulture. We are looking for a Nursery Assistant to support the department head with the day to day running of the tunnels and glass house.

**The role will include**:

- Planting, Potting, Stock Clearance, Weeding, Bed Clearing
- Watering with the automatic irrigation and hand watering
- Organising plant stock locations
- Pricing, Labelling and Booking in stock
- Opening up in the morning and closing up at night.
- Managing staff whilst the head of department is away.
- Great communication skills
- Strong leadership qualities
- A good understanding of plant care
- Engaging and willing to take that extra step
- Comfortable with heavy lifting & deliveries
- Ability to use own initiative
- Comfortable working in extreme temperatures
- Full driving Licence

**Salary**: From £11.00 per hour
