This is a family run business looking for a Traffic Planner to take responsibility for traffic planning of routes and scheduling delivery times, ensuring that we provide customers a great service in a cost effective and timely manner. General Haulage experience is a must, in order to be successful in this role.

Key Accountabilities:

- Develop relationships with customers & drivers
- Prioritise and co-ordinate workloads
- Plan ahead
- Strong organisation skills for planning schedules, journeys, and loads
- Ability to work within a small family team and on your own initiative
- Excellent communication skills and ability to deal with people at all levels
- A good understanding of transport regulations currently in force
- Previous experience is required
- Knowledge and previous experience in General Haulage is required

Saturday hours would be required

Salary to be discussed at interview.

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Rotherham, S63 6EX: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

- Transport Planning: 5 years (required)
- General Haulage: 5 years (required)
