**Salary**: £32000 - £50000 per annum

GSL Education is currently seeking to appoint an experienced MFL Teacherto undertake a position at one of our Secondary schools in Tower hamlets. This is a school which offers teachers a satisfying and encouraging experience. The School was judged to be “Outstanding”in all categories by OFSTED in a recent inspection. The school is looking for someone who has experience teaching French and German to KS3 - KS5.
About the role:

- Teaching high quality, engaging, well-planned and differentiated lessons that are rich in the use of Assessment for Learning.
- To teach assigned classes appropriately, according to their needs
- To act as a role model in the provision of high quality teaching, learning and assessment
- To contribute to the development and implementation of the department development plan and action plans
- To undertake self-review and engage in regular Performance Management as required
- Be a qualified MFL Teacher (ideally with PGCE, GTP, B.Ed, Cert Ed, BA with QTS)
- Have previous experience teaching French and German
- Understand the importance of high expectations and equality of access for all students, and of being a tutor
- Be proven to raise and maintain attainment levels, keeping standards high
- Have the ability to raise standards and an understanding of how to develop learning and teaching across the department
- The ability to manage and inspire a variety of students
