Museum Cleaner

**Have you always wondered what it would actually be like to be a museum cleaner? **Wise Employment have a rare new opportunity in **Exeter City Centre**

**This is a temporary position (2 months minimum, potential to be extended) 20.5 hours/week. 7.45am
- 11.45AM Tuesday
- Friday. 7.45- 12.15AM on Mondays. **(Sadly, no nights at the Museum on this occasion)...

This position will consist of cleaning the museum on a daily basis and following schedules. This will include internal areas such as floors, toilets, offices, galleries and occasionally outside areas such as entrance steps and walkways.
Emptying bins and following Council recycling policies. Following Museum cleaning guidance to ensure objects and building are safe during cleaning processes.

You will use designated equipment to improve cleaning efficiency; Including floor scrubbers, Vacuum Cleaners and buffing machines.

**Requirements**:
You will be required to follow training plans and procedures for the safe and efficient use of equipment, cleaning products and materials.
You will also be responsible for ensuring that the work environment is safe for visitors and other staff.

Previous commercial cleaning experience would be highly advantageous.

**Security and Access**

As part of the wider Front of House team, you will adhere to museum security and access procedures at all times.
