Production Operator

Permanent opportunities for Production Operators with our manufacturing client based near Bacup.

This is a NIGHT SHIFT position and the hours are Sunday to Thursday, 10pm till 6pm.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Set up and operate machines and presses
- Working to engineering drawings and customer specifications
- Using hand held tools and working with various materials
- Monitoring the machines during the process to ensure there are no faults
- Removing completed work and checking for any defects
- Identifying any issues, reporting and recording them accordingly
- Responsible for your machine and ensuring you follow health and safety guidelines
- This job offers variety and you are responsible for each job throughout the process
- Some of the parts can be slightly heavy when moving them throughout the process

**What are we looking for?**
- Ideally you will have experience operating machinery and it would be advantageous if you can read and understanding engineering drawings
- Experience within an Manufacturing/Production role
- Ability to follow working instructions
- Must be computer literate and also have the ability to produce hand written reports
- Able to work under pressure in a team and as an individual
- Working to deadlines

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £34,000.00-£39,000.00 per year
