**Job Title: HSEQ Officer**
**Location: Nottingham**
**Contract Type: Permanent**
Advising at all levels and providing support to help ensure compliance with HSEQ legislation and standards, within a manufacturing and installation environment, covering several sites.
**Key Responsibilities - HSEQ Officer**
- Manage daily cleaning requirements
- Provide advice to management on the prevention of accidents, incidents, and the practical implementation of the company’s policies
- Advise on the development of operational risk assessments and procedures
- Review and document all HSEQ processes
- Manage and maintain systems for the company’s health surveillance, drugs and alcohol testing and training
- Undertake active monitoring of company operations ensuring compliance with company integrated management systems
- Proactively work with operational teams and managers on the development and implementation of strategies for improvement to ensure HSEQ is considered at all stages
- Deliver HSEQ awareness training to functional teams as required
- Analyse incident and environmental data to identify practical solutions to improve performance and drive forward improvements across the company
- Site inspections, audits, training, advice, and support to contracts as required
**Qualifications & Requirements - HSEQ Officer**
- Understanding and experience of utilising continuous improvement skills
- Knowledge and experience of standards ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001
- Strong technical knowledge across relevant legislation
- Customer focused and experienced in engaging colleagues at all levels
- Actions and solutions focused whilst ensuring compliance
- Strong communication, interpersonal and coaching skills
- Able to develop and deliver in house training
- Experienced in communicating, preparing and delivering reports to workers and senior audiences
- Excellent document control skills
- Formal qualifications held (Minimum HS Level 3 Qualification)
- NEBOSH Qualification
- Ideally CMIOSH or TechIOSH with ambition to work towards CMIOSH or equivalent
