You will have the opportunity to partner with the business taking responsibility to deliver month end accounting for a sub-section of the UK, US, and European businesses which the team
- supports.**Your role**:

- Involvement in a variety of operational finance processes, including client fee calculation & accruals, accounts payable, intercompany invoicing and settlement, payment runs, bank account and balance sheet maintenance & reconciliation as well as tax & regulatory filings.
- Build responsibility for the accurate completion of month end accounting procedures and submission of entities for group consolidation.
- Develop and manage relationships with the local offices you are responsible for, including third party tax consultants where used.
- As a part of a progressive Finance function and team, you can expect to be involved in process improvement projects, including the implementation of new software. You will also be encouraged to identify improvements to your own processes, using critical thinking and system skills to support a process of continual improvement.
- You will be expected to work flexibly and collaboratively, supporting other team members as required.

**Your profile**:

- Good technical accounting skills and a demonstrable experience in finance with at least 3 to 5 years’ experience in accounting or audit.
- At least part way through ACCA or CIMA qualifications and demonstrating a clear commitment to complete (if not already acquired).
- Strong accounting system and Excel skills paired with an analytical mindset will empower you to work effectively and to make improvements.
- A ‘growth mindset’ with a desire for continual learning and development.
- Collaborative and team focused working style, able to work flexibly across a variety of areas.
- Good communication skills and able to develop strong relationships inside and outside the business.
- A diligent and control conscious working style with a focus on meeting deadlines.
