Junior Hydrogeologist

**Junior Hydrogeologist - London**

An exctiting opportunity has arrised with my client, an international consultancy specalising in mining geotechnical and hydrogeology.They are on the lookout for an Junior Hydrogeologist to join their experienced team of water engineers completing projectsthroughout Europe and Africa.

This role is based in office in London however does require international travel completing projects in Africa.

**Requirements**:
Applicants are required to have a BSc or MSc in Hydrogelogy and a keen interest in projects spanning Hydrogeological Risk Assessments,Hydro-census surveys,modelling and Mentoring for mines, quarries and other dewatering activities.

Experience working for an environmental consultancy, with knowledge of the mining sector.

Full Uk driver's licence

Knowledge on Environmental, Water, Mining and Social legislations.

Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).

French or Spanish Language skills would be beneficial.

**You will complete and cover**:
Undertake hydro-census surveys

Carry out drilling supervision.

Perform Aquifer pump/slug test supervision and data analysis.

Collect water monitoring data.

Fieldwork programmes locally and internationally.

Groundwater / hydrogeological investigations to support mining projects such as Hydrogeological Risk Assessments,Water Resource and Impact Assessments and Surface Water Management plans.

Business development activities.
