Midas Recruitment are delighted to be working with this established, education sector organisation, based in North Staffordshire, which wishes to hire an enthusiastic individual to join its finance team, to maintain its Sales Ledger/Accounts receivable function.

**Duties for the role of Sales Ledger Assistant include**:

- Contacting customers and sending reminders, to facilitate prompt payment of sales invoices
- Develop good working relationships with major customers
- Handle and resolve any customer queries of sales invoices
- Process receipts through the accounting system
- Investigate and resolve overdue sales ledger balances

**The Person specification required for the Sales Ledger Assistant role**:

- Experience of working in a busy finance office
- An enthusiastic, hard-working nature
- Confident in the use of computerised accounting systems
- Flexible, team-player

**The package**
- The role is offered on a permanent basis, and is office-based
- 37 hours per week
- Salary range £25,000-£29,000, dependent on experience
- 28 days holiday plus bank holiday
- Generous pension
