**About the role**

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Wastewater Networks team as a Sewerage Pollution Advisor. You’ll be working closely with the Proactive Team, Sewerage Manager and Investment Delivery to support the effective delivery of a suite of pollution projects, whilst taking ownership for the delivery of some smaller initiatives and sub-projects.

You’ll be based within the proactive pollution team in both the North and South Areas namely looking at several Capital projects, which are currently ongoing to assist with our continuing targets to reduce pollutions and environmental impacts from our assets. You’ll be assisting with sewer investigations to ensure they are thoroughly carried out to identify the root cause and resolve using the appropriate resource to minimise the impact on the environment.

We’re looking for you to own the delivery of specific initiatives and sub-projects with the effective management of project issues and risks throughout the project life cycle, along with working with the project managers responsible for delivering pollution projects - Dual Manholes, Vulnerable Manholes and Sewer Level Monitor installs, to prepare material to be used for investigations and support process, system and behavioural change.

You’ll be communicating project updates through effective highlight reporting and ensure key milestones are shared with stakeholders across all levels of the organisation, through written and verbal communication that is tailored to meet the needs of the recipients.

**About you**

As this is an undergraduate role, we’re not looking for you to have proven work experience, but we are looking for you to be studying for or recently graduated from a civil, geography or environmental or project management qualification, along with having good communication skills and the ability to liaise with customers and key stakeholders to ensure positive feedback both internally and externally.

We’re looking for you to have experience of effectively communicating to multi stakeholder teams, presenting findings and recommendations both formally and informally, through data analysis, trend identification and making conclusive recommendations.

It would be great if you had an understanding of the water industry, experience of delivering exceptional customer service, along with process mapping and project management and the project lifecycle.
