Procurement Assistant

Procurement Assistant - Gourock - Permanent - £30,000 DOE

ARM are delighted to be supporting a leading Maritime business with the Recruitment of a Procurement Assistant on a permanent basis.

The Procurement assistant will support the Procurement function providing Procurement system administration and general Procurement support.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide Procurement system administration
- Support further developments of the company's purchasing system
- Liaise with Finance to ensure user levels access in processed
- Liaise with internal stakeholders on new supplier on-boarding
- Ensure supplier price lists are updated
- Assist with management information reporting
- Provide any ad-hoc administrative support to the Procurement team

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience held as a Procurement administrator
- Excellent communication skills
- A good working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- The ability to multitask and prioritise
- Ability to deal with staff at all levels, both internally and externally
- Good general standard of education
