Production Planner

This Production Planner role is with a stable, growing and investing manufacturing company. In recent years employees have received annual bonuses and annual pay increases in addition to a competitive benefits package.

The company specialises in providing bespoke manufactured products to multiple sectors, including Construction and Oil & Gas. Supporting their work, they have taken on multiple multi-million-pound contracts recently and have a robust order book, with the successful Production Planner being key to delivering these orders. Over the past few years, the company has invested consistently in new equipment, systems, training and more recently larger premises.

Responsibilities of the Production Planner;
- Produce a balanced manufacturing schedule to achieve internal demand and customer delivery dates.
- Working collaboratively between Sales, Procurement (Materials) and Manufacturing in order to meet the manufacturing demands and expectations of customers.
- Utilising an integrated Microsoft Dynamics Material Resource Planning (MRP) System in order to analyse sales orders and create work orders.
- From time to time working cross functionally across the business, supporting upskilling and learning other areas of the organisation.
