One of the largest housing associations in the UK is recruiting for an Accommodation Manager for their Student Accommodation Service in the Earls Court area of South West London on a temp to perm basis.
**The Role**
This Accommodation Manager role covers Student Accommodation services across South West London. You will provide excellent accommodation services to customers, working closely with central services and the University, promoting engaging and positive relationships.You will lead on the local delivery of operational plans, ensuring KPIs are achieved, contractual obligations met and maximising occupancy and income. You'll lead in managing the site office, including staff and budget.
- Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

- Building budgets
- Maximising income from managing rent arrears and providing support where required
- Maxising occupancy levels through effective void management processes
- Provide sector leading customer services
- Ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory and legal obligations in relation to agreements
- Support the delivery of 'summer lets' by managing departures and over stayers
- Assist in the development of cyclical, reinvestment and major works
- Provide a comprehensive tenancy management service balancing support, enforcement and engagement
- Ensure the site office is maintained to a high standard

To be considered for this Accommodation Manager role you will require excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal, as well as the below:

- Full, clean UK license and access to a vehicle
- Level 4 Certificate in Residential Letting and Property Management
- An understanding of student services including best practice.
- An understanding of the ANUK framework for landlords managing accommodation.
- Good knowledge of health & safety and compliance in a residential setting.
- Good knowledge of equality and diversity.
- You'll be an effective communicator, with strong people management skills including staff development and motivation.
- Budget management skills.
- The ability to work productively with internal departments, external partners and other bodies.

**The Package**
This is a full time Accommodation Manager vacancy, 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday. This is an initial 12 week contract, with a view to becoming permanent beyond this, offering a salary of £37,359. You'll be given the opportunity to work from home a minimumof 2 days a week, dependant on business needs.
