Our focus is on relieving the NHS's strain by providing support groups and counselling services for a range of mental health issues. Our approach is centered on offering holistic, high-quality care, and we have supported over 1,000 clients in our 12 months. This innovative organisation values continuous learning and development within its team to ensure the delivery of exceptional mental health care.

**Position**: Qualified Counsellor (Part-Time, Self-Employed)

**Duties**:

- Conduct individual 1:1 sessions with Adults and children age 11 and above.
- Assess clients' mental health needs and develop treatment plans
- Provide evidence-based counselling interventions
- Monitor and evaluate clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records and own case load.

**Experience**:

- Level 4 counseling preferably as a integrative counsellor
- Experience working with children age 11 +
- Member of the BACP or equivalent
- Experience providing counselling to individuals
- Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities and interventions
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

**Skills**:

- Empathy and compassion for clients
- Active listening and effective communication skills
- Ability to establish rapport and build therapeutic relationships
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Cultural sensitivity and awareness of diversity issues in therapy
- Confident working with children age 11 and above

**Hours**:Self employed bases with a option to go employed after a trial period.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Freelance

**Salary**: £20.00-£25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 10 per week
