**Responsibilities**:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the hotel, ensuring a warm and friendly reception.
- Efficiently handle guest check-ins and check-outs, ensuring accurate completion of all necessary paperwork and procedures.
- Provide guests with information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
- Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Manage hotel reservations by accurately inputting and updating guest information in the property management system.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions, and maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
- Coordinate with other hotel departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure guest requests are fulfilled promptly.
- Assist in resolving any operational issues or emergencies that may arise during the shift.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area, ensuring a professional and inviting atmosphere.
- Collaborate with the hotel team to achieve sales targets, promoting hotel services and upselling amenities to guests.
- Stay up-to-date with hotel policies, procedures, and special promotions to provide accurate information to guests.
**Requirements**:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and team members from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with hotel property management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to handle cash and process financial transactions accurately.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
**Job Type**: Zero hours contract
**Salary**: £12.00 per hour
