**Job Description**:
We’re looking for an experienced Operational Continuity In Resolution (OCIR) Specialist to join our Operational Resilience team on a Fixed Term Contract, to support the OCIR workstream in our Resolvability programme of work.

You’ll be working closely with the Operational Resilience team as well as with stakeholders from the other Resolvability workstreams to ensure that we maintain and enhance OCIR compliance in our preparations for resolution under the Resolvability Assessment Framework (RAF).

Resolvability is a key priority for our regulators and this is an important role for SBS, to ensure that we have appropriate measures in place to protect our people, assets and customer service in times of stress.

This position will report into the Senior Operational Resilience Leader.

What you will be doing

You might not have on the job experience of everything we’re asking for but if you can demonstrate experience that hits the mark for most, we’d like to hear from you.
- You’ll work with stakeholders from across SBS to maintain our business service catalogue and ensure that we have our critical services adequately mapped.
- You’ll support our Supplier Relationship Management team in the final phases of contract remediation and risk assessments for supplier contracts that support our critical services.
- You’ll develop our playbook for OCIR, ensuring that the steps we must follow in a resolution scenario are clearly set out and aligned to the master resolution playbook.
- You’ll develop OCIR barrier testing including the development of scenario testing to test our financial resilience in resolution.
- You’ll support cross barrier testing alongside the other workstreams.
- You’ll update and enhance our OCIR compliance and self-assessment documents.

What you’ll bring to the role
- Experience from a similar role and a good understanding of OCIR regulation and the context of the Resolvability Assessment Framework/RAF.
- A good understanding of resilience and resolution and how the two concepts work together.
- Ability to engage and work in partnership with business stakeholders.
- Good analytical mindset and able to interpret wide ranging information and make appropriate recommendations for OCIR.
- Adopts a pragmatic and balanced risk/reward approach.
- Able to focus on detail, be a good completer/finisher with and produce high quality deliverables.
- The ability to complete tasks using own judgement with good time management skills.
