**The Role**:
Brunswick Creative is looking for a mid-weight reporting and investor communications strategist. Reporting into the Director, Investor Communications & Reporting, you will provide essential support in re-energising and growing our reporting offer.
You are an independent thinker and self-starter and have hands-on experience of advising listed and unlisted clients on annual reporting and are likely to have a background in a specialist reporting agency or professional services firm.
You have a solid working knowledge of relevant UK corporate reporting, corporate governance and emerging ESG regulation and best practice and an understanding of the rising importance of digital reporting and communications.
Experience in profile-raising, marketing, pitching and other business development activities would be highly advantageous.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Support the Director, Investor Communications & Reporting with client-facing strategic advisory, helping our clients to craft meaningful annual reports and other investor communications that are compliant and striving for best practice where appropriate. Activities will include peer reviews, best practice research, drafting of client briefing notes outlining our recommendations, and development of structure and content plans, wireframes and paginations.
- Work closely with colleagues in the account management, digital, design and production teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently - on time and on budget.
- Support on marketing activities that raise the profile of our reporting offer. Activities may include researching and authoring our monthly client newsletter, other ad hoc articles or pieces and thought-leadership pieces.
- Contribute to new business activities including networking (both internally and externally), developing RFP submissions and participating in pitches.
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:
- A track record in providing strategic corporate reporting advisory to listed and unlisted UK companies is essential. Able to provide pragmatic and insightful advice based on an understanding of a business, their communication challenges and ambitions and your knowledge of applicable regulation and best practice.
- Solid working knowledge of relevant regulations and best practice:
o UK corporate reporting regulations (eg. the Companies Act, Guidance on the Strategic Report, Listing and Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules, AIM Rules)
o UK Corporate Governance Code and other related governance codes
o Existing and emerging ESG regulation (eg. TCFD, CSRD, SEC and ISSB)
o FRC best practice guidance
- An understanding of wider corporate communications including brand, employee engagement and digital would be highly advantageous.
- Experience of originating, researching and authoring marketing material such as magazine articles, blogs, guides and thought-leadership pieces preferred.
- A confident networker who proactively seeks connections both internally and externally.
