**Role**:
The job-holder will be a member of the McQueens Flower Events team, with responsibility for managing customer’s floral design projects from beginning to end.
Whatever the size of project, you’ll take ownership of the customer and be at their side throughout - from initial enquiry to clearance afterwards, and every step between. Your job is to understand and interpret their needs and ideas and then translate them into a winning proposal by working with the rest of the team to create and deliver amazing floral designs for events, and contributing to the growth of our company.
You’ll need to be a confident communicator with the skills and experience required to successfully handle enquiries, meet with customers, provide creative leadership to customers as well as give practical guidance and advice, produce beautiful costed proposals, deliver presentations, work with our creative team, plan and organise logistics, go to installations when necessary, and take ownership of the project from start to finish to deliver an outstanding result.
With a relentless focus on understanding our customers’ needs and by collaborating with relevant colleagues, you’ll combine all of your skills to solve problems and mobilise colleagues as required to deliver outstanding customer service, maximise revenue from each customer, and continue to elevate our brand reputation.
You’ll be predominantly based in the office but will be required to meet customers on site or in their office. As a frontline contact for our customers, this ambassador role requires you to look and act the part at all times - retaining composure and professionalism, and an ability to be diplomatic at times.
This varied role requires creativity, planning skills, problem solving, good judgement, teamworking, organisation, attention to detail, an ability to manage time and workload effectively, commercial acumen, and excellent interpersonal skills.
**Duties**:
- Responsible for promptly and appropriately handling incoming customer project enquiries and requests
- Responsible for meeting with customers as required
- Responsible for fully understanding customers’ needs and ideas
- Responsible for working with our creative team to develop and refine the brief and design for each project
- Responsible for producing beautiful, on-brand presentations and costed proposals
- Responsible for collaborating with colleagues in other teams to plan, deliver and install amazing floral designs
- Responsible for communicating with relevant colleagues to ensure that delivery times and deadlines are met
- Responsible for finding thoughtful and creative solutions to problems as they occur
- Contribute to the achievement of high levels of customer satisfaction
- Contribute to growing revenues and increasing company profitability
- Responsible for maintaining accurate and complete customer records
- Comply with all company policies and procedures at all time
- Maintain the confidentiality of all types of information relating to employees, customers, etc
