**Highways Technician**

**Salary**: Up to £25000 per annum, experience dependant.

**Location**: Hybrid and flexible working arrangements, based in our Northallerton or Otley offices. Some travel to other sites will be required.

**Contract**: Permanent, full-time, 40 hours per week. Monday - Friday

**This could be the role for you**

We are an award-winning building design consultancy and 2024 is looking to be our busiest year yet. With exciting new projects coming up with our Partner North Yorkshire Council and private sector clients, we are looking for a Highways Technician to join us at Align Property Partners. You will play a vital part in supporting the team as we continue to grow.

In this role, you will provide technical support to the Highways team and ensure that important service and design decisions are communicated clearly. You will prepare technical specifications and develop Bills of Quantities and will have the opportunity to visit clients on project sites and carry out relevant inspections and surveys.

To be successful in this position, you will have:

- A Level 4 (BTEC / HNC or equivalent) in an appropriate discipline, professionally registered or seeking registration at Eng Tech level.
- Experience within an engineering consultancy or highway management organisation
- Knowledge in preparing detailed designs and specifications using PDS and/or Civils 3D, AutoCAD, MicroDrainage etc
- Working knowledge of relevant UK standards, adoptable standards and building regulations
