Our client are an established, expanding manufacturing business currently looking for an Internal Sales Coordinator to join their team.

**Overall Purpose**:

- To be responsible for the day to day management of customer accounts to deliver the highest level of customer service.
- Maintain the supply of materials to production schedules and minimum stock levels to ensure operational and production continuity.
- To manage relationships with suppliers to ensure consistency of supply and competitive pricing to support site cost control objectives in line with budgeted spend.

**Key Duties**:

- Working within the internal sales section of the Supply Chain function alongside the planning and despatch teams.
- Main point of contact for customers, fully responsible for the day-to-day account management for assigned clients.
- Co-ordination of the introduction of new products, through pro-action with other internal departments within the business, from the artwork/specification stage to delivery.
- Execute account management in line with any agreed external/internal Service Level Agreements (SLA's), contracts and customer facing agreed ways of working.
- Proactively support the external sales team with their client account plan objectives and customer action plans.
- Provide same day, responsive feedback to any client daily requests. Demonstrate concise, accurate status information and considered communication.
- Ensure customer orders and deliveries are fulfilled on-time and in-full.
- Analysis of customer forecasts to ensure product is available from stock or through production for delivery in line with customers planned production requirements.
- Proactively manage the order-book for assigned clients within the parameters of available materials lead-time, capacity lead-time and stock level targets.
- Deployment and control of off-line stock models/tools for critical stock accounts.
- Accurate order placement for make to order and make to stock customers in accordance with effective MFO batch sizing rules and commercial quotations.
- Co-ordination of customer delivery requirements integrating with Despatch/Transport departments to meet on-time and in-full delivery, achieving the most cost-effective transport plans in line with targets.
- Management/rotation of stock in line with customer agreements, business targets and KPI's for aged stock.
- Effective handling and timely close out of customer complaints and queries in line with plant and customer policy.
- Follow escalation procedures in a timely manner.
- Contribute to RCCP action reviews for customer complaints and other problem solving.
- Lead, contribute to, departmental and cross-functional CI projects as part of the business CI program.
- Liaise with External Sales team members to ensure on-going efficient account management including participation in customer meetings/business reviews as required.
- Compliance within Company's Health & Safety, Hygiene and Environmental standards/procedures.
- Provide full personal support to the behavioural safety campaign requirements.
- Management of paper ordering in line with company procurement strategy including setting, maintaining and management of both general and aged stock targets.
- Preparation of regular demand forecasts for materials/supplies for internal and external stakeholders.
- Requisition and purchase order management.

**Key Skills, Experience & Qualifications Required**:

- Ideally educated to A level standard (or equivalent).
- Experience of working in a customer service/internal sales or manufacturing environment.
- Computer Literate - Business Systems, Web Based Applications and Microsoft Packages.
- Procurement experience desired.
- MRP/ERP experience desired but not essential.

**The Package**:

- £25,000 per annum.
- Day shift, office hours.
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays.
