We are The Maintenance Team, a multi-skilled property services company who have been established for over a decade across the Midlands, Herts and Greater London.

If you consider yourself to be a fantastic multi-skilled carpenter, then you are who we are looking for

**Example of day to day tasks required for this job**:

- Tailoring and hanging fire doors
- Kitchen fitting
- Building timber framework and structures
- Fitting of windows and doors
- Repairs and replacement of hardware components
- Other multi-skilled abilities such as plastering, plumbing, tiling, glazing, flooring - the more multi-skilled abilities the more favourable as the jobs can be very varied and not just carpentry

**The essentials**
- Full and clean driving licence
- A recent DBS (or one can be arranged for you)
- Own and have access to all of your own general tools inc battery powered
- Experience of hanging and altering fire doors to current standards
- Ability to fault find and/or specify job requirements in terms of labour time and materials related to carpentry tasks and other symptom based issues
- Outside your core carpentry expertise, to possess other 'multi-skills' such as plumbing, plastering, tiling etc so that you can considered for a diverse range of reactive tasks
- **At least 5 years of recent, direct, full-time employed experience**, with an ability to submit credible references from the companies you have worked for
- Ability to commute and be ready to start work at job sites within the Herts, North and North West London area by 8am
- Possess an outstanding, positive attitude and ensure that works are completed to a high standard
- Attention to detail, and an ability to work well under pressure/multitask
- Ability to complete tasks both as part of a team, or solo

**The nice-to haves**
- Qualifications and evidence of certification and accreditations in your craft(s)
- Knowledge and experience of working with a PDA system to receive jobs and updates
- Previous Health and safety training, and experience of safe working practices
- Ability to complete risk assessments and method statements
- Previous work experience within property services to the private rented sector
- Good humour :)

The role comes with a fully insured work van, fuel card, and uniform.

The Maintenance Team have been established for over 10 years, and provide quality property repairs and services to a large and varied range of clients, including letting agents, block managers, commercial facilities and domestic portfolio landlords across a variety of regions.

Our head office is based in Hertfordshire, and this particular role would be based within our Southern region, which is mainly Hertfordshire, some of Bucks, and Greater London.

Pay: £39,800.00-£43,450.00 per year
