Mig Welder

Steel 4 Structures Limited have been supplying structural steel since 2011. With years of experience working with steel, we pride ourselves in fabricating structural steel work for various industries within the UK.

Due to growth in the business, we are looking for experienced mig welders to join our fantastic team.

The job responsibilities will include:

- The ability to read and understand technical drawings and welding symbols.
- Reading and understanding procedures relevant to task
- Ensuring correct set up of welding unit.
- Ensuring all welds are within Welding Procedure Specification (WPS).
- Ability to complete all relevant paperwork.
- To co-operate with members of the team to ensure works are completed within target time scales.
- Experience with overhead 10 tonne capacity gantry cranes would be beneficial.
- Ensure all company and customer equipment e.g., machinery and tools, is treated with respect and care.
- To act professionally and responsibly while representing the company.
- To always follow company quality procedures, complete all quality documentation.
- To check your own work against quality standards.
- To maintain workshop housekeeping to a high standard.
- To carry out daily recorded check of workshop equipment allocated to you prior to use
- To follow safe working practices in line with Company policy and legislation.

Our State-of-the-art workshop includes CNC robotic beam line, automated shot blaster and 2 x CNC plate profiling machines that produce structural steel fittings

**45 hours per week at £14.50 per hour.**

**Basic Salary: £33,930.00**

**Overtime available and paid at time and a half**

**Overtime hourly rate: £14.50 x 15 = £21.75**

**Example Salary: 60 hour week (including overtime) up to £50,895.00**

**Interview will include a trade test.**

**Monday to Friday 07.30 to 17.00**

**Overtime available paid at hourly rate plus half.**
