**Lectureship/Readership in Applied & Computational Mathematics**

**Grade UE08/UE09**

**Salary - £45,585 - £54,395 / £57,696 - £64,914**

**School of Mathematics**

**Full time - 35 hours per week**

**Open ended
The School of Mathematics is seeking to appoint to a lectureship in Applied & Computational Mathematics (equivalent to Assistant Professor) to start in September 2024 or later by agreement. Very strong and experienced applicants may be appointed to a Readership (equivalent to Associate Professor).

A PhD in Mathematics or a related area and some experience of relevant teaching at University level are essential, as well as being able to demonstrate independence, effective team working, good communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary Scale: ££45,585 - £54,395. Very strong and experienced applicants may be appointed to a Readership, for which the salary is ££57,696 - £64,914
