Our mission is to ensure sustainable waste management for future generations by implementing effective planning, innovation, and communication across north London. We cater to two million residents across seven boroughs and conduct engagement campaigns to promote waste reduction and recycling. We also advocate for government and industry action to minimise single-use items, encourage reuse, and promote efficient recycling. In response to the climate emergency, we are constructing the countrys greenest Energy Recovery Facility and modern recycling facilities at the Edmonton EcoPark through the North London Heat and Power Project.

- To provide professional and excellent executive support to the Managing Director/Director of Corporate Services/Programme Director that enables him to focus on managing the strategic direction of the Authority.

**Example** **outcomes** **or** **objectives** **that** **this** **role** **will** **deliver.**:

- Take the lead in managing the day-to-day operations of the managing director/director of corporate services/program director. Effectively manage their schedules and plan meetings to ensure the best use of their time. Utilise knowledge and judgement to help the organisation achieve its goals. Through proactive planning, ensure time is available for important tasks. Provide high-level support in managing correspondence, including in-box management and drafting responses on behalf of the Managing Director/Director of Corporate Services/Programme Director. Ensure these responses are of high quality and use exemplary English. Collaborate closely with relevant leaders, including the office of the Authority Chair and Camden Chief Executive, to coordinate efforts and deliver the Authoritys responsibilities. Represent and communicate on behalf of the Managing Director/Director of Corporate Services/Programme Director, maintaining political awareness and confidentiality. Proactively support the Managing Director/Director of Corporate Services/Programme Director in maintaining strong relationships with external organisations. Coordinate planning for and follow-up from Corporate Leadership Team meetings. Work with others across the organisation to request information and commission advice, following through to ensure that it is delivered in an appropriate format.
