Primary School Caretaker

New Directions Education are looking to appoint a hardworking and adaptable School Caretaker, to work on a relief basis in Primary schools in Cardiff.

Due to the nature of the roles being temporary, all applicants must be flexible and will ideally hold a full clean driving license, to work in different schools in the area covering long and short-term positions.

The working hours will be Monday-Friday and will include split shifts (e.g 7am - 11am **and **3pm - 6pm), there will also be work available during school holidays.

**The duties of a school Caretaker include**:

- General maintenance and minor repairs
- Liaising with contractors
- Managing heating and alarm systems
- Security
- Opening and closing the school
- Basic cleaning
- Keyholding.
