Renewable Energy Yield Analyst

This company specialises in the development, construction, ownership and operation of Renewable Energy projects, focusing primarily on Wind, Hydro and Solar technologies. Due to an increased demand for their services this organisation is looking to bringon a Renewable Energy Yield Analyst to help facilitate their plans for expansion across the UK.

In this role you will be responsible for measuring and optimizing energy efficiency for Renewables projects. This involves a variety of tasks including energy yield assessment for projects both under development and in operation, the design of site measurementcampaigns and regular project performance monitoring.

This is an amazing opportunity for someone looking to make a name for themselves within the Renewable Energy industry by entering into a position within a well-stablished organisation that comes with full responsibility for all aspects of energy analysis.

The role:

- Design of site measurement campaigns using Remote Sensing Devices (Lidar or Sodar) or meteorological masts
- Carrying out energy yield predictions and assessments for developing and operational projects
- Regular project performance monitoring (yield, downtime, defects, constraints, causes of loss energy loss etc.)
- Liaising with Wind/Solar technology suppliers to inform on technology selections
- Developing reporting formats and analysis techniques to support operations and asset management needs

The person:

- Degree educated within relevant discipline such as engineering, physics, maths etc.
- Experience of carrying out Wind & Solar energy yield predictions
- Experience with wind energy resource software e.g WindPro, Windfarmer, Windographer
- Experience with solar energy resource software e.g PVSyst, PVSol
- Full UK driving license
