About Us: Ginger is a new creative agency launching in Glasgow. We are dedicated to creating engaging content that captivates audiences and stops them scrolling on their newsfeeds. As we continue to expand our services, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Social Media Manager to join our team on either a freelance or part-time basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies that align with clients' branding and marketing goals.
- Curate, create, and schedule high-quality content across various social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Monitor social media channels for trends, conversations, and opportunities to engage with the audience.
- Manage social media accounts by responding to comments, messages, and interactions in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with the creative team to produce visually captivating graphics, videos, and other multimedia content.
- Use analytics tools to track, measure, and report on the performance of social media campaigns and provide insights for continuous improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in social media management and incorporate them into strategies.
- Foster relationships with clients, understanding their needs and objectives to tailor social media strategies accordingly.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in social media algorithms and adapt strategies to maximize organic reach.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience in social media management for brands or agencies.
- Strong understanding of various social media platforms, their features, and their audiences.
- Proficiency in content creation, copywriting, and visual storytelling.
- Familiarity with social media scheduling and analytics tools.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with clients and team members effectively.
- Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative ideas for engaging content.
- Basic graphic design skills are a plus.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with a high level of organization.
- A genuine passion for staying up-to-date with social media trends and emerging platforms.

**Job Type**: Temporary contract

**Salary**: From £20,000.00 per year
