Due to launch Late Spring 2024, the Spa at the Cairndale Hotel is a new destination Spa for the south of Scotland, offering treatments, spa days and wellness retreats in the heart of Dumfries.

The hotel is popular for large events including weddings, birthday celebrations and conferences. The hotel also boasts banqueting facilities including grand ballroom for up to 350 guests.

The hotel is centrally located right in the heart of Dumfries, 5 minutes from the train station and a stopping point on a number of bus routes.

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails and beverages to patrons with precision and efficiency
- Maintain a high level of cocktail competency, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation
- Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with patrons to enhance their experience
- Uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards in the bar area, including equipment maintenance and sanitization
- Work collaboratively with the bar team to ensure smooth operations and timely service
- Adhere to all relevant laws and regulations regarding the sale and service of alcohol
- Assist in inventory management, stock replenishment, and ordering supplies as necessary

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-end lounge or bar setting
- Extensive knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and wine
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering excellent customer service
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 8 per week
