**A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Physiotherapy Assistant to join our Amputee Physiotherapy Team. We are looking for a member of the team to support the one-to-one and group rehabilitation of patients' pre and post amputation. You would work in both Inpatient and Outpatient settings within the Physiotherapy Department at Addenbrooke's Hospital and surrounding Clinics.**

**The department and the team are friendly and dedicated towards the delivery of an excellent service for all our users as well as committed to service improvements. You will receive excellent training to develop new skills in order to be able to manage a delegated caseload of patients for functional progression and support the Physiotherapists with more complex patients.**

Main duties of the job

**To work under the supervision and guidance of the **Amputee Physiotherapy Physiotherapists as part of the Outpatient Amputee Rehabilitation Service.**

**To provide interventions or treatments with patients which form part of their rehabilitation programme or duties as directed primarily by the Physiotherapist.**

**This will occur primarily at the site of the Addenbrooke’s Prosthetics and Orthotics Outpatient facility, with some duties occurring at Addenbrooke’s Hospital as required by the Physiotherapy Department.**
