You will be joining the Sunderland Empire at an exciting time in its development as we strengthen our technical team and develop our venue and its impact over the coming years. As **Deputy Chief Electrician** you will play a key role in ensuring our standards of presentation, both on stage and in the rest of the building, are exemplary.

You will be expected to have extensive management experience to lead, develop and grow a technical team with many years of experience. You will be expected to work closely with colleagues in Staging, building maintenance and FOH operations.

This position reports to the Chief LX and Technical Manager, and to the Theatre Manager and Theatre Director where appropriate. You’ll be responsible helping manage the LX Department’s casual team.

The role is offered on an annualised hours (buy-out) basis, meaning that working hours may vary throughout the year and payment for any premium hours, such as get outs, are all included in the annual salary.
