Job Description *Job Title *Cleaning Operative *Reporting to *Warehouse Supervisor - Goods In & Stock Control *Main Purpose of Job*
- Undertaking cleaning tasks as specified in the MSK Cleaning Schedules
- Cleaning spills, broken glass and other messes as quickly as possible
- Monitoring cleaning supplies and identifying re-ordering requirements
- Understand and follow all relevant health and safety procedures
- Understand and follow all relevant food safety procedures *Main Duties*
- Ensure cleaning tasks as identified in the cleaning schedules are undertaken in a timely, professional and thorough manner
- Identify when additional cleaning resource may be required in order to maintain standards and support team members in ensuring tasks are completed to standard
- Support team members with packing or picking tasks as may be required from time to time
- Follow MSK guidelines and procedures with particular regard to personal hygiene, the wearing of PPE, the use of cleaning supplies, the implementation of hygiene procedures and the use of equipment
- Identify and report any items which you suspect may be defective *Experience and Skill Level*
- Food Industry experience (preferable).
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Level 2 COSHH Training (preferable, training will be provided as required)
- Level 2 Food Hygiene (preferable, training will be provided as required).*Personal Qualities*

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: From £10.00 per hour

- Chesterfield: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
