**Description**

We have an excellent opportunity to work for a well-established warehousing and logistics company within a busy UK logistics function. The Transport Planner will take responsibility for daily Van movements, support the HGV planning and must work well within a small team.

**As part of the UK Operations Department, your duties will include**:

- Assist in the planning and co-ordination of multiple UK movements for drivers from multi-drop Van to HGV
- To ensure cost effective and timely delivery/receipt of goods to/from all UK destinations
- Working with other departments in line with compliance requirements
- Liaise with external bodies on behalf of the company as and when necessary
- Actively seeking additional load opportunities

**It is essential that you will have the following skills and experience**:

- Experience within a logistics environment
- Familiarity with shipping systems and procedures
- The ability to work within a busy logistics department
- Good knowledge of drivers rules & regulations

**Salary**: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
