**The Role**:
To provide remote support and coaching to those engaged in the digital weight management programme.

**Key responsibilities: -**- Engage in remote (phone and video) support for clients to enable them to lose weight in an effective and sustainable way.
- To provide education on the dietetic elements of the weight management programme clearly and in a way that is tailored to the individuals need.
- To be able to adjust the approach and advice given depending on an individuals circumstance including the gender, culture, age, ethnicity and socio-economic status.
- Use psychological coaching strategies, including solution-focused and motivational interviewing skills to negotiate change to overcome barriers to achieve required weight loss.
- Support and encourage adults to set realistic goals in terms of changing behaviour and achieving positive healthy outcomes.
- Be sensitive and supportive to the psychological and physiological needs of participants, and signpost additional support where appropriate.
- Adhere to local and national safeguarding procedures.
- As and when required, support the administration process of engaging clients onto programmes. For example, answering calls, sending out communications, telephoning clients and regular WhatsApp to clients.
- To positively promote access to the Morelife offer, My Life Plan and the aims and objectives of the service.
- To keep accurate records of work.
