**HM Courts & Tribunals Service is looking for experienced cleaner.**
- JOB PURPOSE:_
To provide an effective, responsive cleaning service throughout the concerned HMCTS, ensuring delivery and maintenance of a high standard of cleanliness, which meets the requirement of ENGIE, the HMCTS and the National Standards of Cleanliness.
- JOB SUMMARY:_
To work under the direction of onsite Working Supervisor and/or Facilities Supervisors. The Cleaner provides a clean, safe and hygienic environment for the public, staff and visitors of the HMCTS. Endeavouring at all times to ensure a high quality service while respecting end user rights to privacy and confidentiality.

**SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
1. To undertake cleaning tasks, both planned and reactive, throughout the building to the required standard using correct cleaning materials, equipment and methods.
2. Undertake the damp dusting of furniture, fixtures and fittings.
3. To undertake maintenance of floors, including mopping, polishing and scrubbing. This will, on occasion, include the use of industrial cleaning equipment which will include a ‘sit-on’ vacuum cleaner or scrubber.
4. To be responsible for vacuum cleaning and carpet water extraction cleaning.
5. Undertake cleaning of sanitary areas.
6. Undertake the cleaning of Public Areas, including public toilets. This will include the use of steam cleaners for the toilet areas.
7. Responsible for the segregation, removal and disposal of waste.
8. Responsible for reporting incidents requiring pest control and supporting and assisting the cleaning and maintenance tasks involved with pest control.
9. To ensure a fresh and hygienic environment within their allocated area of responsibility.
10. Responsible for the cleaning of all internal windows and partitions
11. Duties will include the use of industrial cleaning equipment.
12. To move light equipment
13. Comply with Health and Safety and Food Hygiene regulations at all times.
14. Cleaning of spillage of bodily fluids in non-clinical areas.

**Qualifications or Required Experience**:

- Health and Safety Level 1
- At least one years experience within customer focused environment.
- Current DBS (Ideally no older than 12 months)
- Ability to acquire BPSS vetting
- Work early morning or late evening shift patterns

**You will have the possibility of extra hours in the day between 09:00 16:00 after been working there for a week**

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 10 per week

**Salary**: £10.42 per hour
