Pertemps Reading are currently recruiting for an Industrial Sewing Machinist to join a reputable client with an immediate start in Reading
Skills and experience required:
- Experienced with use of industrial sewing machines and upholstery.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work closely with cutter and upholstery staff to achieve required results
- Good understanding of sewing techniques
- Able to sew with a wide variety of commercial fabric types
- Ability to troubleshoot sewing related issues
- Ability to modify work to resolve assembly issues as required
- Ability to work to deadlines
Our client will consider applicants with skills used to machine curtains and cushions, who are interested in making the move into upholstery.
