Night Porter

**Job description**

Cottesmore Hotel, Golf & Country Club is looking to recruit a Night Porter to work four on, four off night shift pattern to ensure hotel guests are looked after while the venue is kept secure and well presented for the next day.

The Night Porter will be responsible for the 26 bedroom hotel, 7 Self Catering Lodges and venue between the hours of 10pm and 6am.

During these hours the Night Porter duties will include;
- Checking in late hotel arrivals from 10pm
- Point of contact for all hotel guests through the night (phone provided)
- Assisting the bar & restaurant team in closing the bar at 11-11.20pm and securing the venue.
- Assisting the bar & restaurant team with late night functions, closing the bar at 12.30am and dispersing guests from the venue or back to hotel rooms in line with the Premises License.
- Completing room set ups (tables & chairs) in the 3 function rooms for weddings, conference etc
- Responsibility for security of the venue
- Nightly cleaning of bar & restaurant, function rooms & function WC's
- Completing handover to day shift prior to leaving in the morning

The successful applicant will enjoy being part of team, also be capable of working alone, be self disciplined and comfortable with the responsibilities the night shift brings.

Any additional hours worked beyond the contracted time will be paid as overtime, for example, when covering holiday of the opposing Night Porter.

Salary of £20,762.56 based on the 4 nights on, 4 nights off shift pattern, which equates to £14.26/hour.
