**The Role**

The role of Newly Qualified Accountant - Investment Funds & Private Equity will report into the Head of Client Accounting. The successful individual will be involved in accounts preparation for several key clients of the business. This will involve liaisingwith clients on a regular basis and being 'the face’ of the organisation - so someone who can communicate in a professional and effective manner is critical.

**On Offer**

The role of Newly Qualified Accountant - Investment Funds & Private Equity is offering a salary of £40,000 - £45,000 per annum with additional benefits (hybrid working). The role will be based in Edinburgh - with the office easily accessible via public transport.

You will be involved in but not limited to the following duties:

- Preparation of quarterly financial statements for a portfolio of clients including forecasting and commentary - ensuring these are accurate and timely
- Preparing fund drawdown, equalisation and distribution calculations
- Liaising with clients on various accounting related matters including - investor capital, entity drawdowns, tax returns and annual accounts
- Preparation of statutory accounts for a portfolio of clients
- Liaising with auditors and tax advisers
- Preparation of VAT returns and other compliance requirements
- Accurately record of all information and client interactions in order to track progress and ensure best practice is adhered to at all times

To be considered for this role you must:

- Be a Newly Qualified CA (or working towards - 2 exams remaining max.) in practise
- Have experience of working with financial services/investment/private equity client portfolio
- Have strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills - being able to build effective, professional relationships
- Have good skills on MS Excel including pivot table and lookups etc.
