**We are currently recruiting for**: Customer Service Advisor - Yard
**Based**: 177 Strand Road BT48 7PU Co. Londonderry.

**About this role**:
The Yard Customer Service Assistant is a vital role of our branch as it ensures yard operations are carried out efficiently, effectively and above all else, safely, whilst encompassing our customer first culture.

Due to the remoteness of the branch we would require applicants to have a driving licence and car as to be able to reliably commute to and from work.

**What will I be doing in the role**:

- Serving customers face to face, providing the highest possible service and care.
- Preparing orders for collection & delivery and ensuring sales documentation is completed.
- Maintaining stock levels
- Loading and unloading vehicles both manually and with a forklift truck _(training provided_)
- To make sure all goods inwards are checked and put away in the correct location.
- To be responsible for personal and workplace health and safety and observe regulations in relation to the Health and Safety at Work Act. (_PPE provided_)
- Any other duties as may be deemed necessary to ensure business objectives are met.

**Working Hours**: Monday to Thursday 8am-4pm-5pm Friday: 8am-4pm **| **2** **Saturdays a month : 8am-12pm

**Suitable Applicants will ideally Be/Have**:

- Proven experience working in a similar role and environment.
- Experience in a customer facing role, customer advice.
- Understanding of timber and general building products
- Methodical, with the ability to prioritise workload.
- Good communication skills and a team player.
