**Summary**

**Job Details**

CTESS is recruiting an additional Administrator to meet growing demand and University ambitions to build upon our existing strengths in learning and teaching (top 5 for teaching quality and top 10 for student experience, Good University Guide 2023).

This role provides vital administrative support for the work of CTESS, with a focus on the academic development and enhancement activities of the Learning and Teaching team. The postholder will also provide some administrative and secretarial support for the wider CTESS team and key working groups and committees within the University.

Duties and responsibilities include:

- Being first point of contact for the Learning and Teaching team: managing the team inbox, dealing with registrations and routine enquiries, and ‘triaging’ other queries to relevant members of the team.
- Providing programme administration for our Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice and other courses and qualifications pathways. This includes maintaining participant records and communications; coordinating assessment and review arrangements; and servicing exam boards / awarding panels.
- Providing event management support for our summer Festival of Learning and Teaching and year-round continuing professional development events.
- Coordinating communications relating to the work of the Learning and Teaching team.
- Providing secretarial support to key University working groups and committees. This includes arranging meetings, collating and circulating agendas and papers, and taking minutes; monitoring and recording progress against action points between meetings; and maintaining relevant committee or working group resources e.g. Microsoft Teams sites.

The post holder will also support the wider CTESS team and its activities, including diary management and team planning (including organisation and minute-taking at CTESS team meetings and away day), communications (e.g. maintaining the CTESS website), and day-to-day management of purchasing, invoicing etc.
