It is an exciting time to join the team as we grow and develop to deliver a high-quality psychological therapy service which is forward thinking and innovative.

This is a newly created post in the IAPT Clinical Leadership Structure and has been created to enhance and strengthen the clinical leadership and management team. We are looking for an energetic and passionate IAPT Deputy Clinical lead to contribute to creating an innovative and trailblazing IAPT service, informed by a cutting-edge evidence base. There will be a key focus on the development of the LTC IAPT offer and quality improvement to enhance services. The post holder will have strong links with our colleagues in the Department of Clinical Health Psychology at Royal Cornwall Hospital Trust (RCHT).

The post holder will lead on the service development of a LTC IAPT service, provide supervision, operational and performance management of the Professional Leads and oversee the delivery of the LTC IAPT service. Support the Clinical Service and Strategy Lead on developments and interface with other providers, deputise for the Clinical Service and Strategy Lead as delegated, provide a clinical service to a modality within HI therapies. The post holder will also provide clinical supervision in the modality (modalities) in which they are accredited as a supervisor, manage the Professional Leads to deliver on performance targets, report on performance targets. There will be a significant focus on developing and building on existing working relationships with Medical teams to integrate psychological care in out-patient settings.

This is a key role within the Psychology/Psychological Services line and an exciting position with the opportunity to consolidate and expand clinical health psychology skills, leadership, and management competencies in an IAPT service.
